Phaseolus vulgaris
This variety of bush bean matures a week earlier than most bush beans. Produces beans in clusters over an extended season on a 12-15" plant that is hardier than a pole bean, and doesn't need staking. The 8" meaty pods are crisp and packed with delicious seeds. Excellent either canned or frozen. Resistant to common bean mosaic and northern leaf blight.
