Sorghum bicolor
Grows like corn without ears. Seed heads appear at the tops of the plants instead of a tassel, grow from 22-36” long and can be cut and dried. Grows 6-8’ tall. The stiff bristles are processed and bound to form broom heads and brushes and are also used for wreaths and other decorations.
